1. How much does a home inspection typically cost?

Our rates are based on the square footage of the home.  Please contact us for a free estimate.

2. How long will the on-site home inspection take?

 The inspection will typically take about 2 .5 hours.

3. Do I need to be there in person for the inspection?

Technically, no.  We do recommend that clients attend at least a portion of the inspection even if it's just the last 30 minutes to receive a wrap up of the findings.  This can also be done virtually. We find this helps clients get context for details we address in our reports.

4. If I do attend the inspection in person, should I follow you around? 

We never discourage our clients from following us around during the inspection.  We leave it up to you.

5.  When is payment due?  

Payment is due upon completion of the on-site inspection. 

 

6. When should I expect the inspection report? 

We aim to produce your inspection reports within 24 hours of the inspection.
